Visual Response will be managing the presentation content at the forthcoming 21st International Workshop on HIV & Hepatitis Observational databases (IWHOD). Dolores O’Sullivan (Visual Response) will contact you in the two weeks prior to the event to discuss your requirements and any concerns you may have. If you have any queries prior to that, do not hesitate to contact Dolores: email@example.com
If your abstract(s) has been accepted as either an Oral or a Poster Presentation, please see below for instructions to the presenters:
8 minute presentation and two minutes for questions and change between each presentation. The Chairs at each session will strictly enforce the time allowed, to ensure the smooth running of the programme and allow for ample time for discussion.
We advise you to have your PowerPoint presentation available before the event and email it to Dolores O’Sullivan, firstname.lastname@example.org If, however, you will be bringing it with you, please ensure that it is on a memory stick saved as a PowerPoint file in order for us to download your file onto the presentation computers.
In the event that you intend to change your PowerPoint presentation on your computer, please also remember to bring a memory stick in order to transfer the file to presentation systems.
PLEASE SUPPLY ALL PRESENTATIONS IN POWERPOINT FORMAT. (Please note that we are not able to support Apple Mac formatted presentations)
Exhibition panels will be available as in previous years.
Posters should be portrait format of 80cm (width) x 150cm (height) [See below]
Posters will be displayed in the ‘Vitis 1’ at the hotel. Your poster board will be identified by abstract number. Velcro and pins will be available.
Posters hang for the duration of the Workshop and are discussed in the oral sessions. You will be asked to stand in front of your poster as follows: odd numbers on Day 1 – Thursday 30th March; even numbers on Day 2 – Friday 31st March 2017.
Abstract reference numbers allocated at submission will not be your poster’s final number, so please do not include it on your poster. Poster numbers will be provided on a notice board at the entrance of the poster room and staff from Visual Response will be on hand to help you. An alphabetical list of presenters will also be included in the programme.
Please note that poster presenters will be required to provide their own poster. There will be no facilities to print your poster on site.
In addition, some poster presenters may be asked to provide a brief summary of their poster, as a PowerPoint presentation (2 - 3 slides). If this is the case you will receive separate correspondence from the IWHOD Secretariat two to three weeks prior to the Workshop.
